This three-year-old won twice at the start of the summer on turf at Brighton and Windsor and shaped well on a couple of recent runs.

The Whipmaster finished third in a 1m1f apprentice handicap at Goodwood in July and that was a solidly run event. In fact, the young riders probably went off far too quickly and the gelding did well to hold on to third and record a good time in the context of that race.
