Willie Mullins and Paul Townend teamed up to win the opener at Listowel on Sunday and Carrigmoorna Queen will be a warm order to do likewise in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Mares Maiden Hurdle, but she could be worth taking on with Gaoth Chuil.
She was very progressive in bumpers and a mistake two-out knocked the stuffing out of her in a novice hurdle at Galway last time. She is better than the bare form of that and it is worth noting she was given a Racing Post Rating of 111 for winning a Tipperary bumper, 10lb more than Carrigmoorna Queen received for winning hers at Galway.
