The best bet of the day comes in the gowranpark.ie 3-Y-O Maiden Hurdle (1.00), which could be a competitive race with the Gordon Elliott-trained Iberique Du Seuil possibly making the market. One of particular interest here could well be the Cormac Farrell-trained Inca Prince.

This gelding impressed on his debut in a juvenile maiden for Henry de Bromhead at Dundalk a year ago, after which things fell apart, including when refusing to race at Listowel in June. However, his first start over hurdles at Listowel last month produced a spark two weeks ago. His jumping was okay and he travelled really well deep into the race before fading after a mistake at the last in a very good winners' contest won by Bell Ex One.
