'He has been shaping like an improver' - Paul Kealy offers a Southwell selection

No. 6

5.00 Southwell
1pt win at 7-1 generallyThere have been a couple of bumps in the road, but otherwise Murbih has been shaping like an improver over the last couple of months and he may be able to defy a 5lb rise for his course-and-distance success just over two weeks ago.

He was well on top at the end there, and in fifth, sixth and seventh he had the three horses who had previously filled the first three in the same race (the fourth in that is favourite for the 5.30).

Also, the fourth went on to be be runner-up to a subsequent winner, so the form looks strong enough for the grade, and Murbih may be able to cope with the slight step up in class.
