'He could be genuinely exciting' - Justin O'Hanlon picks out a few for the Flat

With last week's racing programme curtailed by the myriad storms which enveloped Ireland, it might just be time to look ahead at the upcoming Flat season which is only just over a month away. We have picked out a small selection of three-year-olds who may have flown a little under the radar last season, but showed enough to suggest that they could be capable of something significant in the upcoming months.

3f Lope De Vega – Dream Club (Dansili)
Form: 1-
A filly with a stout pedigree, she looks likely to be one to improve as the season goes on.

Her winning debut came as stable second string in a Curragh maiden in October. Racing at the back of the field, she was green throughout, but the penny dropped late and she really made up considerable ground in the last furlong to get up on the line.
