Haydock Placepot tips: Graeme Rodway with his perm for Wednesday's fixture

The winner will be required in two of the six Placepot races at Haydock and that should help sort the wheat from the chaff. Get through those two races and the dividend may be generous.

Niceandeasy made a promising return from a long absence when fourth at Carlisle last month and is selected in the opening 3m½f handicap hurdle (12.40). Hurricane Dylan is next best.

Dedanser made a promising hurdles debut at Carlisle. The runner-up, Famous Bridge, franked the form at Ayr on Monday, and Dedanser is a banker in the 3m½f maiden hurdle (1.15).

You could make a case for all four in the 2m5½f novice chase (1.50). To keep the perm down, let's go with Mint Condition and Coconut Splash.

There are two exciting prospects lining up in the 1m7½f "Introductory" Hurdle (2.20) and the winner is needed, so it looks worth including both A Different Kind and Harbour Lake.

Aso is one of the bets of the day, so make him a banker in the 3m1½f veterans' chase (2.50).

The 2m3f handicap hurdle (3.20) is a tough one to finish.
Goobinator was going well when falling on his last start, and it's also worth including another last-time-out faller, Osprey Call.
