Hat-trick seeker has plenty to prove with new mark and different ground

SP forecast 6-4

Always looked likely to make a chaser, but was a big drifter in the market on chase debut here in November, opening up at 15-2 and going out to 12-1. The market got that one badly wrong, though, as he came from off the pace to win as he liked by 11 lengths. Sent to Aintree just under four weeks later, he again won in commanding fashion from a stone higher mark. Has another 11lb rise to deal with and unproven on soft and was a non-runner when the going was soft over Christmas, although the ground wasn’t given as a reason.

Conclusion Will oppose in these conditions.
