Handicapper can bounce back with strong pace looking guaranteed

Mountain Rescue was only third in a muddling race at Newmarket last time, but it's worth nothing the fourth won the big 7f handicap at Ascot on Saturday, the fifth also won next time and the sixth has since finished third in two hot Class 2 handicaps.

Chris Wall's six-year-old should get a much better tow into this race as no fewer than four of the seven runners have been known to make the running and he is reunited with William Buick, whose last ride on him resulted in a win at Newmarket in May.
