Balmoral Castle (4.55 Ascot)

Won this race two years ago off 5lb higher and also ran his best race of last season over this course and distance. Weighted to go well for a yard enjoying a good spell.

Topspeed: Dave Edwards

Michele Strogoff(3.55 Pontefract)

Lost his way after winning a claimer at Chester in June and has consequently tumbled down the handicap. Has gone well fresh in the past and a change of scenery may bring about a revival in fortunes.

Longshot: Neil McCabe

Dilinger(8.20 Bath)

Showed some promise in maidens last year and could improve on handicap debut for an in-form stable.

Ireland: Tony O'Hehir

Georgie Hyphen (8.30 Dundalk)

Having finished well to take fourth place behind Alghabrah on his debut over the course and distance last month, the Ger Lyons-trained son of Zoffany can improve to land this 7f maiden under Colin Keane.

The Raceform Interactive nugget
