Hamilton Placepot picks: Robbie Wilders delivers the perm for Tuesday's card

A chance is taken on Mintnthatto keep us in the Hamilton Placepot in the opening apprentice handicap (2.15). His key market rivals are much more exposed and he should be able to uphold recent Ayr form with Retirement Beckons, who has won subsequently.

Tribal Hunter has sound claims in the 6f maiden (2.45). The son of Sioux Nation comes out best on Racing Post Ratings and looks a winner in waiting with none of the newcomers making masses of appeal on pedigree.

The 6f handicap (3.15) is an excellent opportunity for Mark's Choice. The six-year-old is back on his correct mark after a strong third in the Great St Wilfrid last Saturday from out of the weights.

I'll side with Hey Mr in the 5f handicap (3.45) after his fourth to Intrinsic Bond at Thirsk was franked at Ripon recently.

I fancy Lumberjackto land the 1m3f maiden (4.15). He has a bit to find with Yorkindness but can do so presuming his debut effort has brought him forward.

Glam De Vega should be tough to keep out of the frame in the 1m1f handicap (4.45). His second to Walk Of Stars as a juvenile looks red-hot form. Hortzadarhas dropped to his lowest mark in over three years and is also included.
