Order Of St George rates a solid favourite to repeat last year's success in the Ascot Gold Cup with a 3lb margin over his nearest rival among the likelier runners.

His proven Group 1 ability at a mile and half gives a significant class edge over the other stayers and a repeat of either last year's success (RPR 121), or his Arc third to Found (122), would make him banker material for many.

Dubai Gold Cup winner Vazirabad rates the main danger both in the market and on the figures, but he couldn't hold off Quest For More when favourite for the Prix du Cadran last year and his best figures are at two miles.
