Graeme Rodway with a Placepot perm for the evening action at Kempton

The Placepot looks an attractive bet at Kempton and the opener (4.40) is a choice between experienced pair Rhoda’s Choice and Live Stream. Stall one swings it the way of the former.

The second race (5.10) could be ripe for an upset so stick with course specialist Ilhabela Fact and the well-handicapped Noble Gift, who could make all if overcoming a wide draw.

Delilah Park won well over this course and distance last time and is a solid selection in the fillies’ handicap (5.40). Take out some insurance with Marco Ghiani’s 5lb claim on I’m Available.

Ed Vaughan slaps blinkers on Angelic Time in the first division of the 7f handicap (6.15) and that could work the oracle. Shoot The Moon looks a decent alternative from a good draw.

Al Rufaa raced too freely when disappointing at Newmarket last time but John Gosden fits a hood for the first time and he could bounce back from an inside draw in division two (6.45).

I almost tipped Quloob in my main piece for the 2m handicap (7.15) and he could run into a place. Volcanic Sky looks an equally solid option to bring home the bacon.
