Goodness Gracious! John looks worth a bet in Tipperary sprint

Remember the 47-65 handicap over 5f at Tipperary on June 26, 2014? Don't worry, I do. It was won by Ucanchoose (whom I backed at 4-1) and the sprightly veteran was ridden by Declan McDonogh. Why is it relevant? Because I am hoping the Listed Abergwaun Stakes (6.40) at Tipperary this evening will unfold in an identical manner.

On that night, Ucanchoose was drawn widest off in stall 11 and McDonogh came across to the nearside rail, the favoured placed to be on soft ground at Tipperary, making all and pulling out plenty when challenged by rivals down the centre of the track.

David Evans has booked McDonogh for Gracious John this evening and I have a feeling he will do something similar.
