Good round should see well-handicapped chaser home

No. 4
Ballycross
3.45 Ffos Las
1pt win at 13-2 generallyBallycross hasn't quite been getting home over marathon trips, but he ran well for a long way behind subsequent Midlands National winner Regal Flow at Taunton last time and he's very well handicapped on his best form.

His jumping has let him down one more than one occasion, but the Ffos Las fences are far from the stiffest in the country and if he gets into a rhythm he'll be hard to beat.

It's worth remembering he went off at just 9-1 for the Warwick Classic following his Welsh National trial close fourth in December and he's 13-2 here to win a much weaker race.
