>>Backers who matched more than £31,000 on Golden Goal (SP 100-30) at 1.01 in running on Betfair in the mile handicap at Chelmsford had their fingers burned when Almoreb (7-2) flew home to join him on the line.

Almoreb, who had been backed at a high of 110, was still outsider of the pair when the photo betting opened with Golden Goal trading around 1.5, but the market called it wrong.
