Gigginstown pair hold the key to valuable Leopardstown handicap feature

There was plenty to like about Barrington Court's attitude when winning at Punchestown last time and the step up to 2m4f in the Anton O'Toole Memorial Mares Novice Hurdle (2.00) should help.

Jon Snow hasn't lived up to expectations but is running well enough to get off the mark in the Donohoe Marquees Maiden Hurdle (2.30). Dinny Lacey is a potential improver who should improve for the experience picked up last time at Navan.

Gordon Elliott has found an excellent opportunity for Mengli Khan in the New Leopardstown Racing Hall Hurdle (3.05), though Jetz is worth including as an insurance policy for Jessica Harrington, who won this race with Jezki two years ago.

JP McManus appears to hold the key to the TRM Equine Nutrition Handicap Hurdle (3.35), with handicap debutant Filon D'oudairies and Dublin Racing Festival fourth Spruced Up entitled to go close.

The Irish Stallion Farms EBF Rated Novice Chase (4.10) looks a tricky contest to crack but if Smithscorner is sharp enough on his return from 192 days off he should be in the mix. Leopardstown-loving Grand Partner seems to be coming into form and is also factored into calculations.

Oakley Brown's 7lb claim takes Mortal down to a lovely racing weight in the Grade B TRI Equestrian Handicap Chase (4.40) and last year's RSA Chase fifth is taken to bag a second win over fences. WoodsWell, sporting first-time blinkers, is appealing off a feather weight too.
