THERE’S some cracking racing at Newmarket today, but the best bet could be further north courtesy of Get Knotted in the Coral Sprint Trophy (3.45) at York.

This is a fiercely competitive handicap and you have to give huge respect to commanding Portland winner Captain Colby off his 6lb higher mark, but Get Knotted has been reinvented as a sprinter on his last two starts and ran a career best when second in the Ayr Silver Cup last time.

Michael Dods’ four-year-old has run three times at York in big-field handicaps over further and each time he has run a blinder.
