Bags Groove can make winning start on hurdles debut

Harry Fry described Bags Groove as a novice hurdler they were looking forward to "enormously" in his Racing Post Stable Tour, and the five-year-old is set to have his first start of the season at Newbury in the 2m maiden hurdle.

He ran well in each of his bumper starts last season, and was unlucky to not win all three. Having finished second on debut at Ascot, Bags Groove then won at Huntingdon – a piece of form that stands up well having subsequently produced winners.
