It is seldom easy for a four-year-old hurdler to make the transition to handicap hurdling against older rivals. That concern niggles to some extent when assessing how the Gavin Cromwell-trained Prospectus will fare in the Faber Audiovisuals Handicap Hurdle.

However, as we approach the final two months of the year the advantage enjoyed by older horses ought to be significantly diminished, and it is reassuring to note how the four-year-old Copy That was a winning favourite in the corresponding race two seasons ago.
