Follow the clues from big Punchestown bumper

Last season's Goffs Land Rover Bumper at the Punchestown festival provides clues to the first two races at Thurles.

The ten-length winnerFestival D'Ex steps up in grade for the W. T. O'Grady Memorial Novice Hurdle, having got off the mark over hurdles at Navan at the first attempt. The selected of a pair for Gordon Elliott, he could be tested by the Willie Mullins-trained Monkfish, who proved his stamina for this 2m6f contest with a maiden win over a staying trip at Fairyhouse last month.

Whatsnotoknow, who chased home Festival D'Ex at Punchestown in April, has a clear chance in the opening maiden hurdle, with most to fear from Arcadian Sunrise, beaten by an above-average winner at Tramore last time.
