Flight Risk can touch down safely in winner's enclosure

Beware: the ground at Cork could be bottomless this evening. I was on duty at the Mallow track yesterday and got soaked to the skin. My boxers were only fit for the bin.

It started to pour down before the first race and it was relentless throughout the day. The going was changed to yielding after the opener and changed again to yielding to soft after the fourth race.

With all that in mind it could be worth having a chunky each-way wager on Flight Risk in the Listed Platinum Stakes (7.25). He has only two wins from 22 starts to his name, so finds winning arduous, but he does have a course and distance success on soft ground and all conditions seem to come alike to him.
