Newmarket: David Milnes

Firefright (7.50 Doncaster, nap)

William Buick can do no wrong at Doncaster and can get Jeremy Noseda's three-year-old back to winning ways after defeats at Sandown and Epsom. The course-and-distance winner has since moved well on Warren Hill.

Lambourn: Nick Deacon

Silca Mistress (6.40 Doncaster, nap)

Made a solid start to her career when fourth in hot maiden at Goodwood and followed a below-par effort in the mud with emphatic success at Thirsk. She was better than her finishing position suggests in Listed company last time and is fancied to double her tally on this first appearance in a handicap.

Doncaster 6.10 Tig Tog, 7.15 Divine Intuition, 7.50 Redgrave.

Leicester 2.10 Nathan 3.50 Limelite.

North: Colin Russell

Metisian (3.05 Hamilton, nap)

Progressive three-year-old who won at Doncaster on his handicap debut and, with further progress likely, is fancied to follow up with any rain a bonus.

Won with a bit in hand at the course last week and fancied to follow up with William Cox retaining the ride.

Epsom 7.00 Handytalk.

Racing Post Ratings: Simon Turner

Ventura Knight (4.20 Leicester, nap)

Impressive winner on his nursery debut at Carlisle last week, running right away from a fair marker. Just the 6lb penalty to carry and likely to be hard to beat.

Topspeed: Dave Edwards

Fivehundredmiles (4.10 Hamilton)

A winner here in May and runner-up over course and distance six weeks ago, he looks weighted to enhance his fine track record.

Longshot: Ed Quigley

Prince Of Cardamom (3.25 Chepstow)

Course-and-distance winner who has lost his way recently, but is slipping down the weights and should enjoy the drop in trip.

Ireland: Tony O'Hehir

Korbous (6.50 Leopardstown)

The Richard Brabazon-trained eight-year-old has twice won at the course and, following his second over a mile at the track a week ago, he gets the vote to land this 7f apprentice handicap under Oisin Orr, with a visor fitted for the first time.
