Exeter Placepot tips: Graeme Rodway with eight lines for a quality jumps fixture

There are plenty of good horses on show at Exeter and that is the best place for a Placepot.

The opening 2m2½f conditional jockeys’ handicap hurdle (1.40) is wide open. Lettie Lutz has been in good form and is unexposed, but Coal Stock is also included at bigger odds.

Dusart rates a banker in the 3m novice chase (2.10), provided all five runners line up. He's a class act and it’s hard to see him being out of the first two in a likely match with Pats Fancy.

Midnight Callisto brings strong handicap form into the 2m½f mares’ maiden hurdle (2.40) and might find this an easier assignment. She rates another banker, provided all nine line up.

The second division of that race (3.10) should go to her stablemate Credo. She sets the standard for in-form trainer Anthony Honeyball and has had wind surgery since her last run. Make her a banker.

The 2m3f handicap chase (3.40) is another open race. Lord Bryan has dropped to a handy mark and is partnered by useful 3lb claimer Kevin Brogan. Ambion Hill looks next best.

Thelasthighking is one of my best bets of the day in the 2m5½f maiden hurdle (4.10) but I also like Chavez in the same race. Put both in and hope that gets us over the line in the last.
