Exciting Harefield can progress into EBF Final contender
Harefield runs at Leicester on ThursdayCredit: Edward Whitaker
I’m looking forward to running Harefield in the novice hurdle at Leicester on Thursday.
We like him and I’m hoping he could be a candidate for the EBF Final at Sandown in March.
He’s a progressive young horse who delighted us with his first run at Exeter and then won very well at Warwick. He’ll get further in time but another run at around 2m will probably suit.
I was going to go chasing with Criq Rock, but we’ve decided to keep him over hurdles and he runs in the 2m4½f maiden.
He’s not won since his bumper days but he’s got some decent hurdling form and, although this is his first run of the season, he’s ready for it and this will show us where we are with him.
