Evening Angles: three to note at Kempton and Bath based on Racing Post stats
Using the Racing Post's unrivalled bank of stats, we pick out three horses to back tonight based on trainer form, RPRs and, tonight's wild card, a course specialist . . .
Trainer form
Listen To The Wind
7.40 Bath
Angle: William Haggas has had 16 winners in the last fortnight
Listen To The Wind will represent the in-form William Haggas at Bath tonight in the mile handicap and appears to have a fine chance of following up her victory in a similar event at Yarmouth in May.
Although this is a slightly tougher grade and Listen To The Wind is rated 7lb higher, Cieren Fallon's claim negates the rise in its entirety.
Haggas has a 28 per cent strike-rate with his runners in the last two weeks and has another likely winner here.
Ratings
Willa
6.20 Kempton
Angle: Clear of nearest rival by 10lb on Racing Post Ratings
Half of the eight runners in the 7f fillies' novice have experience on the track and the Richard Hannon-trained Willa sets the standard with an adjusted Racing Post Rating of 85.
Her second at Newbury eight days ago is clearly the best form in this line-up and her main dangers could well be newcomers Dramatista, Cressida and Wasaayef.
Wild card
Our Lord
6.40 Bath
Angle: Our Lord has won three times from seven starts at Bath
Fallon also rides three-time course winner Our Lord for Michael Attwater in the 5½f sprint.
The seven-year-old is among the outsiders, though, which is surprising given his form figures of 2041113 at the track.
He was never involved on his return at Salisbury but is 10lb below his last winning mark and has won on good to firm ground, so tonight's firm conditions should be manageable.
