Using the Racing Post's unrivalled bank of stats, we pick out three horses to back tonight based on trainer form, RPRs and, tonight's wild card, a course record worth noting.

Trainer form

Rum Baba
8.15 Windsor
Angle: Trainer Charlie Fellowes started the day with a 33 per cent strike-rate (6-18) in the last two weeks

Royal Ascot-winning trainer Charlie Fellowes sits proudly at the top of hot trainers' list and looks poised to maintain his excellent form with two good chances today. Lord Halifax (4.45) is favourite at Wolverhampton and although stablemate Rum Baba is unlikely to dislodge Frontman at the head of the market at Windsor, he does hold leading claims on form and should be open to further progress.

Ratings

Bounty Pursuit
8.45 Windsor
Angle: Top-rated by 2lb and above on Racing Post Ratings

Although Bounty Pursuit's four victories have come over shorter, the Michael Blake-trained four-year-old should be suited by the return to a mile in the 0-70 handicap at Windsor. Upwards of 2lb clear of his rivals on RPRs, his last two efforts over 7f when fifth at both Newbury and Kempton suggest stepping up is the way to go and he could be well handicapped if that proves to be the case.

Wild card

Bushtucker Trial
6.00 Catterick
Angle: Trainer Michael Bell has a 37 per cent strike-rate (11-30) at the course in the last five years

Newmarket trainer Michael Bell sends a strong team north to a track where he holds a 37 per cent strike-rate, with last-time-out winner Bushtucker Trial the pick of his three runners. The two-year-old gelding showed the benefit of a first run when winning in good style at Leicester after overcoming an awkward start and looks capable of going in again.
