I backed Mubhij early in the week before the forecast suggested the ground could be bottomless so I have no reservations about adding a second string to the bow, especially in a race of this nature.

Another Batt was beaten out of sight when last seen at Chester in May on his first start for Richard Hughes, but a wide draw may have done for him there (Brian The Snail, who was berthed nearby, quickly left a poor run behind) and he wouldn't be out of this if the subsequent break has done him good.
