Dubai One can hit the target for resurgent Bin Suroor

Godolphin have long been renowned for finishing the British Flat season in strong fashion and their two main trainers seem to follow the usual pattern, most notably Saeed Bin Suroor.

Whatever happened during a summer of discontent which featured just three runners in the month of August, everything seems fine with Bin Suroor's runners now, with 13 of the 23 horses he has run in October finishing in the first two.

Six of those won, which puts Bin Suroor bang on his ten-year average strike-rate of 25 per cent for the month, and they included Autumn Stakes winner Best Solution, whose next stop may be the Group 1 Racing Post Trophy on Saturday week.
