Dual course winner back on a handy mark

No. 4

2.25 Carlisle
1pt win at 10-1 generallyPurcell's Bridge hasn't run particularly well on his two starts so far this season, but he lasted much longer last time, only back-pedaling from the fourth-last, and he should be spot on now.

He returns to a course where he has run some of his best races - including two wins and a close third to Russe Blanc - and now carries the same mark of which he last won at Haydock in March, so there's no doubt he is handicapped to go close.

He looks the value shout against a favourite - Golden Investment - who is not exactly a win machine and is up 7lb for his first chase win last time.
