Drop in trip perfect for handicapper running into form
No. 7
3.35 York
1pt win at 8-1 generallyHaving achieved Racing Post Ratings of 83-85-89 in three runs this season, Just Hiss has the profile of a horse running into form and he was given a 2lb drop by the handicapper for his latest effort here over 1m21/2f.
He shaped then as though he didn't quite see out the trip and this drop back to a mile could prove perfect, especially in first-time cheekpieces to sharpen him up.
Tim Easterby won with a runner in this first-time headgear last week and Just Hiss, who hit form last summer with two wins followed by a half-length third off 87 here (he's on 86 now) ought to go well from a handy draw.
