Form figures of 4FP might put you off Nambour in the Marlin Hotel Dublin Handicap Chase (2.15) but it might be worth giving the lightly raced nine-year-old another chance.

Nambour was eventually pulled up by Jack Kennedy when a 10-1 shot for the Munster National at Limerick a fortnight ago, but he was creeping into contention when he made a complete mess of five out and almost got rid of his rider. There was enough evidence there to suggest he has not lost all his old ability.
