The Alanna Homes Handicap Chase (12.50) at Punchestown has been saved from last season's spring festival and is worth €70,000 in prize-money. Willie Mullins runs seven, but the most interesting of those is undoubtedly Tornado Flyer – the choice of Paul Townend.

At first glance Tornado Flyer's form would appear to have tailed off a little last season after winning at Naas and Navan, but finishing fifth to Samcro in the Marsh Chase could turn out to be out a really decent effort, and he might have quite a bit in hand off a mark of 150.
