There is a feast of sumptuous showdowns on day one of the Punchestown festival. Personally, I would prefer Blue Lord over Echoes In Rain, Chacun Pour Soi over Allaho and Monkfish over Envoi Allen, but all three are hovering just above evens and those odds are not juicy enough to tempt me in.

Djasek will be a backable price in the opening 2m½f novice handicap hurdle (3.40), and it will be hard to resist having an each-way nibble on him.
