This time next week will see top-class racing at York, although if you fancy Postponed - the big favourite for the Juddmonte International - you'd want Roger Varian to bang in a few winners between now and then.

The horse has tremendous ability but he missed the King George with a respiratory infection and his trainer has had only a handful of runners lately, including a couple of disappointing favourites in recent days.

The trainer, who had a couple of runners on Tuesday, is today represented by Sharja Queen, who sports the Postponed colours in the Listed EBF Stallions Upavon Fillies' Stakes (3.50) at Salisbury.
