Having run an excellent race in the Albany Stakes when runner-up to Daahyeh, Celtic Beauty was unable to confirm the form over the undulations on the July course at Newmarket. She had a nice confidence booster dropped to a maiden at Naas just over two weeks ago.

No filly has finished any worse than sixth in the Queen Mary and come on to win this in the past 40 years. Flippa The Strippa was only eighth at Ascot, but her pedigree suggests she needs the extra furlong.
