It has already been a successful week for Emmet Mullins and the Mee family at Ballybrit but it could get even better as they look to have an excellent chance of beginning Friday's card with a bang.

The consolation race for the Galway Hurdle, the Guinness Galway Tribes Handicap Hurdle, doesn't look the strongest considering the increased pot of €80,000 on offer, with no Willie Mullins-trained runner in the line-up for the second year in a row.
