Weatherbys Hamilton Lonsdale Cup

Having beaten Simple Verse in the Yorkshire Cup in May, Dartmouth dropped in trip for the Hardwicke Stakes at Royal Ascot and weakened inside the final furlong after racing too keenly. Eight Lonsdale Cup scorers ran in the Yorkshire Cup, but the York winner hasn’t followed up under a penalty.
