Rolling Dough, a mare who relishes good ground, should enjoy perfect underfoot conditions in Fontwell’s T I Engineering Handicap Hurdle (3.40) and is strongly fancied to repeat April’s course win off an attractive mark.

Best held up off the pace in a big field before being produced with a late challenge, the Diana Grissell-trained eight-year-old should have little difficulty getting covered up in this 14-strong line-up.

Rolling Dough could be named the winner some way out that spring afternoon and, having scythed through the pack with impressive ease rounding the final two bends, she quickened up well to stamp her authority on proceedings at the second-last before staying on strongly to beat Midnight Gem (winner since) by a length and a quarter.
