Dawson City doesn't have the potential for improvement that some of these have, but he's a consistent performer in this sort of race and is well worth an each-way bet at a price.

He was fifth in this race last year and followed that by finishing seventh in the Welsh National. He then won the Devon National at Exeter (only 3lb higher now) and ran fifth in the Midlands National.
