Computable finally works out how to get his head in front

Having traded at 1.37, 1.55 and 2.1 before losing in three of his four starts, Computable finally came good in the 5f maiden at Musselburgh, staying on too strongly for Kiribati, who was matched at 1.31 in running on Betfair.

More than £2,660 was traded at 1.23 on Lightscameraction in the 5f handicap at Leicester, but he was worn down by Mirza who hit a high of 40.

Joshua Lane was backed at 180 on his way to holding off the same owner's more fancied Aspen Colorado in the 2m novice hurdle at Galway.
