With Hermosa's air of invincibility lost after her defeat at Royal Ascot, the Qatar Nassau Stakes looks an open race and it could well be worth taking a chance on one lower down the index.

It would be little surprise were any of Mehdaayih, Channel or Maqsad to run a big race, but two are dropping back from 1m4f and this race is at least as kind to those who have shown their best previous form at around a mile.
