Failed to fulfil his promise after scoring impressively over fences at Huntingdon in 2016 when trained by Ben Pauling in Britain, but has been nursed back to form by Michael Hourigan and gave notice he could soon cash in on an 8lb lower hurdles mark at Fairyhouse last time.

Drumacoo went through that race like the best horse and travelled well enough to trade at a low of 1.56 in running. He had every chance when alongside eventual winner Brawler at the last but a bad mistake proved costly and 7lb claimer Trevor Ryan lost his irons. My selection still stayed on well to finish second without matching the winner.
