Successful in the Galtres Stakes at last year’s Ebor meeting, looked to find the Park Hill Stakes trip too far at Doncaster. She won her third Listed event at Pontefract recently and, from a terrific Ballymacoll Stud family, looks ready for this step up in class.

The soft ground wasn’t in Ajman Princess’s favour when she was third in the Pinnacle Stakes over course and distance last month, a race in which three former winners finished 143 since 2004. Back on fast ground, she has every chance of making up for an unlucky season last year when she was runner-up in the Ribblesdale Stakes and injured in the Irish Oaks.
