Bellewstown's three-day summer serving draws to a close this evening but, don't worry, we will be back for two days at the end of August when course specialist Catwilldo might repay the money he owes me for failing to get by Nora Batt on Thursday night.

I believe Bellewstown is the one track in Ireland where previous course experience is paramount. The undulations and tight turns do not suit every horse, but I think the place is tailormade for To Choose, who is one from one at County Meath venue, having been successful at this meeting last year, and he can maintain his unbeaten course record in the 2m1f handicap hurdle (5.55).
