Cheltenham Placepot picks: Paul Kealy takes on a few favourites in his perm

Hartur D'Oudairies was installed as favourite in the early betting for the opener at Cheltenham (12.05), but his form doesn't yet compare to the likes of and .

Washington went down by only two lengths to I Like To Move It, while Jpr One beat Luttrell Lad and I Am Maximus on his racecourse debut, and that pair are much preferred to a horse who was impressive at Warwick, but in a weak enough race.

It's probably best to go with two in the seven-runner next (12.40) as well, and , an unlucky last-fence faller when going to win at Lingfield last time, and the improving get the nod.

is the main fancy in leg three (1.15), but seems to be rapidly improving for Ben Pauling and should in the mix as well.

The mares' handicap chase (1.50) looks really tough, but put in a really game effort at Lingfield and will appreciate the stiffer test, while has been improving in Ireland and ought to go well if over her fall when going well recently.

I'll take on Enrilo in the next (2.25) with the best-fresh and Pat Fahey's , who was a fine third in the Troytown when last seen.

After that I'll bank on course specialist , who has won and been third in the two cross-country handicaps he has contested here and finished fourth to Easysland in the non-handicap at the festival.
