Chase debutant looks a good thing in small-field event

Credit: Edward Whitaker

Acting Lass
1.40 Market Rasen
SP forecast 7-4

Absolutely bolted up on his debut in a Hereford novice hurdle, quickening up well when Noel Fehily asked him to win his race to scoot clear by 11 lengths. Sent off 10-11 favourite at the same course on second start but bumped into none other than Finian's Oscar. Had a two-month break and ran respectably in a really good Ascot affair in February. Now goes chasing.

Conclusion Has a lot of untapped potential and looks a chaser. I'll be having my money on.
