This lightly raced three-year-old has improved since switched to handicaps on the all-weather this winter and followed his easy victory over 6f at Southwell in February with another promising effort at Kempton last time.

David Brown's gelding set a strong gallop that day, but kept on well to hold on for third and was beaten only by two runners who were ridden with more restraint. Tranquil Daze should be considered better than the bare form and the race is working out well.
