Brilliant Native Trail physically in a different world to his juvenile peers

There probably hasn’t been a more incredible sports story in my lifetime than Emma Raducanu winning the US Open tennis last week.

We all know what she achieved and how she did it, but the one thing that I haven’t heard many people talk about is what a superb athlete she is and how physically she stands out from the vast majority of players on the women’s tour.

I’m not one for the dark art of paddock watching, but there is no doubt Raducanu has the physical and movement attributes that go with being a top-class sports person and I don’t think it’s any different with horses.
