Bowen hope a big threat if taking to first-time visor

Ed Chamberlin and his ITV pals better take their umbrellas to Cheltenham this afternoon because the weather forecast is not pleasant.

It won't take too much rain at all to turn the ground as testing as it was when Taquin Du Seuil won the BetVictor Gold Cup or when Frodon landed the Caspian Caviar Gold Cup last month.

On both occasions the gallant Village Vic set up the race with his breathtaking jumping and the more rain the better his chance as he will take all the others out of their rhythm.
