Betting editor Keith Melrose with a Placepot perm for Fakenham
Only the winner will do in leg one (12.20), so take all runners bar Shiroccy Road, who would be a shock winner on her third hurdles start.
The 12.50 is a weak race. Diamond Rose stands out a mile and is likely to be favourite, so double down on her by making that assumption.
The maiden hurdle (1.20) looks tricky and Conceroe and Commodore Miller are selected partly on their proficiency in bumpers.
Fact Of The Matter is solid in the 1.50, although Lord Getaway makes some appeal for Placepot purposes if you don't mind the extra expense.
The Knot Is Tied is a good option in the 2.20, being a less likely winner than the short-priced Lelantos but a more likely Placepot type. Finally, Luckofthedraw is a final-leg banker. He too is not the first choice for win purposes but the way he races it is unlikely that many will go past him.
